Forum: computersandtechvideos Subject: What is the best open source web development to go with?

trying to figure out which open source web development system to go with (aka Joomla) for example because I want to get away from Dreamweaver and things like that. I travel a lot and if my computer were to get stolen or lost, it wouldn't be that much of a loss... plus i think I could do better with my sites because the site http://mortgagebrokeremaillist.com if you take a look at it, dosent look like an up-to-date site that you would generally see today.

In my opinion Ruby on Rails is a advance in lowering the barriers of entry to programming.
